Cells, the smallest living things.
Do you know Lego? Do you see mario made out of lego blocks?
We are also made out of blocks. Our block are much smaller than those LEGO blocks you see in te picture. Our blocks are called CELLS (cellen) They are very small and alive. Everything that lives has cells. In the picture below you see the cells of a plant.

Drawing rules
Somethimes when you look at something under a microscope you must draw it. There are some rules when you draw something that is under a the microscope.Here you can read what the rules are.
- Draw big, never too small
- use a sharp HB-pencil
- You can use color with some drawings but never with pen.
- Draw what you see!
- NEVER spray water or you will be send out of the class an you will do the lessen on your own time. You can not work with the microscopes again.

Schematic/Schematisch: With schematic drawing you only draw the most important parts. You can't use color.
